| My 2004 ongoing speech For the past four years we live under an illegitimate government, a catastrophic Bush administration. This coming November we have a presidential election which result will tell us if we will swim or drown. An outcome that will decide if women's right to choose will remain, if civil liberties will be respected, if gays and lesbians will finally become true citizens of America with equal rights under the Constitution. I am here today to condemn [again] the man who was selected president, who calls himself a compassionate conservative, whose passion for lying had left many children behind and thousands lives forever gone for a war of choice. The man whose conservatism is to manipulate religion against freedom in order to serve and to being served by the Christian Coalition. I am here to say that enough should have been said a long time ago. I am here because I never lost hope for a better future, even if I am long time gone to see that future, it matters for me to do what I believe is right. In the memory of all who fought for our liberty and freedom, I am joining you against those who want to silent us and make a world a place of their own. We will regain what we have lost, we will continue to fight for humanity, peace, freedom and equality for all. Together we can and we WILL! Monique Frugier |
