March for Women's lives

Washington, April 26, 2004

"I am overwhelmed" said a young woman walking by my side as I was returning to 14 street to meet
my travelling buddies.  She was no more than twenty years old, her first march  for women's right to
choose. I hope her last one.  Yes, it was overwhelming for all of us.  I have been marching many
times in Washington since the beginning of the illegitimate Bush administration.  Washington is
beginning to be my second home.
I have never seen so many people sharing same concern. Men, women, children, people of many
races, many different life styles, we were there with the same message: don't fool with women's
rights to choose.
For the first time I did not make a sign, although I was a little bit concerned that some marchers
could take the opportunity of this march to promote their own agenda, I trusted that it would not
happen.  I was right.  I took my camera and the pictures will take you there if you could not join us,
or they will remind you of the million of people you were part of.
Tomorrow are the primaries, I will be working as I always do as an Inspector of minority in my
precinct watching every moves, you can count on me.
In November, LET US KICK BUSH OUT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE, let us take OUR COUNTRY BACK
